On May 22 2010, Sharp-Roxy Sales & Service Company (M) Sdn. Bhd. (SRSSC) organized a voluntary activity at Sungai Tekala Recreational Park for the International Day for Biodiversity. About 236 volunteers from SRSSC staff and its family members, along with committee members, took part in the event.

The activities included area cleaning, putting up tree and awareness signs, and gazebo painting. For the children, an environmental awareness themed coloring contest was held. SRSSC also donated 12 attractive waste containers to be used at the forest park.

These actions taken by the SRSSC prompted the Malaysian Department of Environment to extend their support and help out by setting up an environmental exhibition counter at the forest.
