To further promote environmentally conscious manufacturing, we have been asking you for a description of environmental impact substances in the specification sheets for newly adopted parts and materials used since October 2003, and this time, we have revised the contents of these sheets.
You, all the suppliers, from now on, are required to submit the set of revised "Report on Environmental Impact Substances Contained in Parts and Materials" and "Analysis Data" as an evidence.
We would be grateful for your understanding and your cooperation in our efforts to preserve the global environment.

1. Description of environmental impact substances in specification sheets

Please submit the set of "Report on Environmental Impact Substances Contained in Parts and Materials" and "Analysis Data" to the final page of your specification sheet when sending to Sharp.
Please download the "Report on Environmental Impact Substances Contained in Parts and Materials", and fill them out. (However, when you supply parts/materials to Business Solutions Promotion Group, Document Solutions Group, Electronic Components and Devices Group, Display Device Business Group and Large Liquid Crystal Display Business Group, please submit the report for each group.)
An analysis data that is an evidence of “Report on Environmental Impact Substances Contained in Parts and Materials�Ebasically has to meets the requirements mentioned below^(*). However, an alternative document (such as a composition table from a raw material maker) is acceptable if it can be used for verifying RoHS conformance.

(*)Requirement for Analysis Data:
Regarding each part/material, measured data on RoHS objective substances (Lead, Mercury, Cadmium, hexavalent chromium, PBB and PBDE) and organization name that measured it are required. If you judge the exemption of EU RoHS on your parts/materials, please describe the reason of it.

2. Subject parts and materials

These are all new parts and materials that are supplied to Sharp. Although molded parts, steel plates, etc. are included, packaging materials used for supplying these parts and materials are not included. However, packaging materials for packaging products from Sharp for service are included.
